The fine print should help
you to feel safe, not small.
Sometimes the best way to negotiate a new contract or fix an old one isn’t by adding more clauses — it's by simplifying them. Because legal wording can be tight and robust, without being out of touch.
How I can help
Draft
I write documents that actually do what they need to. Strong yet flexible — and without unecessary expensive-sounding legalese.
It’s about understanding where your red lines really are, and how hard to push. Good deals often need someone who can actually read the room.

Update
The law is always changing, but so are your priorities. Sometimes a contract or policy just needs a bit of a makeover to keep up.
I regularly walk clients through what contract terms actually mean, so they know what they’re signing — and where the risks are.

Contract Sense Checks
Sometimes you just want a lawyer to tell you whether something looks okay. My contract sense-check consultations are for clients who simply want an initial steer — and sometimes, that’s all that’s needed.

HOW IT WORKS
Contact me and say you’re interested in a sense check. If I think I can help, I’ll message back to discuss next steps. If we agree to work together, we can arrange a 30-minute call where we can focus on things like:
• red flags or things that might be worth negotiating
• legal jargon you don’t understand or aren’t sure about
• whether the agreement looks broadly sensible
This is designed as a high-level consultation rather than a full legal review. If your matter might benefit from additional advice, I’ll let you know as soon as it becomes apparent.
*Each contract is different, and its length doesn’t tell us how complex or important it is. That’s why I’ll need to see the document and understand your situation before I can say how much the review will cost. I also believe legal advice should be within reach for everyone. So if you’re an artist, performer, or freelancer with a limited budget, just let me know and we can work something out.

Contracts I advise on
Contracts and policies are more than just paperwork. Each one tells a different story about risk, control, power, and trust — and what happens if something (or someone) goes off script.
